ROBERTO BATES FEAT. VIOLA "Fire Walk With Me"
Ein bewegender Song besteht für ROBERTO BATES nicht nur aus einem guten Beat, sondern vor allem auch aus einer starken Melodie. Geprägt wurde er hierbei durch den melodiösen Rock der 80er Jahre. „Minnesota Lakes“ war 2017 das Erstlingswerk des Solokünstlers und mit „Killer“ war BATES 2019 sechs Wochen auf Platz eins der Schweizer DJ Charts und bis auf Platz sechs der englischen Commercial Pop Charts. Beide Nummern laufen bis heute noch im Radio.
Die Melodie des neuen Songs hat der Wahl-Gießener auch schon seit Ewigkeiten im Ohr, aber auch schon auf Kassette. Inspiriert wurde "Fire Walk With Me“ durch das Werk des US-Filmregisseurs David Keith Lynch. Der Text verarbeitet die Motive diverser Lynch-Produktionen und die Musik ist eine wunderbare Zeitreise in die Welt der 80er. ROBERTO BATES ist aktuell gleich in drei Kategorien (u. a. EDM) nominiert bei den German Songwriting Awards 2020, die am 10. Dezember verliehen werden. Darüber hinaus erhielt er auch eine Nominierung für den Bereich Komposition der Deutschen Popstiftung. Die neue Nummer (VÖ: 15.01.2021) erscheint vorab am 18. Dezember auf der Clubfete 2021, um an diesem besonderen Sylvester rechtzeitig auf dem Plattenteller zu liegen.
